Kris H. Griffith

Kris H. Griffith is a Safety trainer and consultant with Krest of Honor LLC. He has over 20 years of mining experience where he worked as an equipment operator, supervisor, and safety professional. Kris used his experience as an Advanced EMT and fire fighter to help the Mine Rescue team as a team member. In 2019 he took over the Mine Rescue team as the trainer and led them to many trophies in competition against other Mine Rescue teams. In 2019 Kris was awarded the prestigious Emergency Response award from the Nevada Mining Association. He has also received a commendation from US Senator Kathleen Cortez- Maesto for his work in Safety and Emergency Response. Kris has a passion for training and uses that to provide training's to individuals looking to get into mining, or to keep current in their training needs. He provides safety consulting to contractors to help them get compliant with state and federal regulations in metal/ non metal mines. Kris has spent a lifetime in leadership roles and also uses the knowledge he garnered in those positions to train others in the art of leadership. Kris is a trusted name in leadership and safety. In his spare time you can find Kris either with his wife and three sons in the outdoors or sporting events, or working towards his bachelors degree from Columbia Southern University where he is currently studying Occupational Safety and Health.
